The Person of Christ

Publications defending Christ's Glorious Person, exposing evil teaching such as the Apollinarianism of F.E. Raven, James Taylor Sr., and C.A. Coates, as well as the denial that Christ had human personality and that he could not say "I" as man.

The Eternal Relations in the Godhead
An exposition of many fundamental doctrines of the Person of Christ. The fullest refutation of Raven-Taylorism. F. E. Raven denied:
  • the Eternal Sonship of Christ;
  • that Christ had a human spirit (FER was an Apollinarian);
  • that Christ was ever essentially in His divine person the Eternal Life;
  • the Second Man was characterized by divine attributes; etc.
Concerning the Eternal Sonship, what the wicked denial of this truth entails is shown in detail in this book. Besides the exposition in the first half of this book, there is the most detailed examination of the events from 1888, with FER's letters and papers, that led to the godly separation of 1890. FER's letters and papers are included through 1892. There are also refutations of his wicked teachings given in a lengthy appendix that contains photo-copies of numbers of original papers. This book also addresses similar fundamentally evil doctrines of James Taylor Sr. and his henchman C. A. Coates. The writings of these three persons form the backbone of Raven-Taylorism, but to F. E. Raven goes the great dishonor of being the founder of the system, as is demonstrated in this book.

This book deals with the pretribulation rapture in detail, as well as giving an exposition of Matt. 24 and 25. It includes strictures on the partial rapture view as well as on the idea that the parables of Matt. 24:45-25:30 refer to the time of the tribulation period. Also there is a detailed examination of how the posttribulationist B. W. Newton, in his opposition to dispensational truth, was led through his prophetic system into the horrible doctrine that Christ was at an unspeakable circumstantial distance from God!

The Girdle of Truth
The Girdle of Truth magazine published in the late 1850s and early 1860s reprinted by PTP. It is one massive book containing all ten original volumes. The pages are 8 ½ x 11 in size, each page showing four of the original small pages. It is bound in Hard Cover. The printing is very readable in good-sized type. The pages were printed from images of the original so the reader can see the original page format.
